Applications now open for the 2019 AMWA Early-Career Award

This is the chance for aspiring medical writers to enter the industry with a splash. The Award is designed to assist in the transition from tertiary education or other areas of employment into full-time medical writing. Applicants for the Award will be assessed on a piece of writing of approximately 1000 words and a short person biography.

The benefits of the Early-Career Award include:

Conference registration and workshop attendance plus $1000 towards travel and accommodation

Publicity via the conference presentation, social media and the AMWA website

Advice and assistance from AMWA members already established in the field of medical writing

Entries are now open for this year's AMWA Early Career Award! The award is open to AMWA members with fewer than two years' of medical writing experience.

This could be your year! Previous awards have been won by applicants who were hesitant to apply. You have nothing to lose!

If you have previously submitted an entry but missed out on the win, we encourage you to try again as there have been many entries that have only narrowly missed out on the win!
