AMWA Conference - Save the Date!

AMWA is excited to announce that the 2026 conference will be coming to sunny Queensland. Our conference will be held on Thursday 24 September 2026 at the Kelvin Grove campus of QUT in Brisbane. As usual, the conference will be preceded by networking drinks on the evening of 23 September and conclude on Thursday 24 September with the AMWA AGM and conference dinner.

Planning is well underway for a programme that includes educational and informative speakers and workshops. If you are keen to maximise your learning opportunities, the 3-day Australian Science Communicators conference is running from Monday 21 – Wednesday 23 September at the same venue. AMWA members will be able to attend at discounted rates. We’ll be able to provide more specific programme details soon.
