AMWA - Member Code Of Conduct

At AMWA, we wish to create a welcoming, open, inclusive and respectful environment.

This document details the standards of behaviour expected of AMWA members. In submitting a membership application, individuals agree to adhere to these requirements, including when dealing with the AMWA committee and other AMWA members.

Members should:

                Be honest at all times.

Treat all people associated with AMWA, including other members, committee members, volunteers, and external stakeholders with respect.

Participate in AMWA events (online or in person) in a way that reflects positively on the individual and AMWA.

Be open to feedback from committee members or other members and respond appropriately.

Adhere to AMWA’s policies and procedures, as defined in the organisation’s constitution.

                Adhere to legislative requirements.

Always represent AMWA in a professional manner.

In addition, members may only use the AMWA logo, member or freelance directory listing, or public content in ways that uphold AMWA’s reputation, include proper attribution, and do not imply AMWA’s endorsement of their business, services, or opinions without explicit consent.

Breach of any of the above will result in cancellation of membership without any refund of the annual subscription.
