How long has it been since you caught up with health and medical writers in your home town, Perth? Too long?

For me it’s been never. So let’s fix that. Why can’t we meet and mingle like they do on the East Coast?

My name is Fay Bahemia, I’m your “host” for the AMWA WA Network event on February 3^rd. While I might be new to the world of health and medical science writing, I am just like you; I enjoy researching, writing and the magnificent world of biomedical science. Meeting people and organising are two more things I like doing.

Entries are now open for this year's AMWA Early Career Award! The award is open to AMWA members with fewer than two years' of medical writing experience.

This could be your year! Previous awards have been won by applicants who were hesitant to apply. You have nothing to lose!
