with AMWA

Come and join us in Sydney on 23 November for an informal, relaxed evening of networking and catching up with friends and colleagues. Everyone is welcome so feel free to invite any non-members you know who may be interested in learning more about AMWA, and the support and services we provide.

AMWA member, Marissa Philpott is hosting a networking event on October 25. Come and join her, and other health communicators, for a relaxed and informal evening in Malvern. Everyone is welcome!

AMWA has hit the ground running in 2023 and we're excited to invite you to our networking event in Melbourne, being hosted by one of valued members, Kaye Stenvers.

The free-of-charge event is open to all, with drinks and nibbles being covered by AMWA.

Join us from 5.30pm - 7.30pm at Beer DeLuxe, Federation Square, Flinders Street.

It's a great opportunity for some casual, relaxed networking and socialising, and a great chance for the non-members of our community to learn more about AMWA, and the services and support we provide.

We hope to see you there!

We are pleased to announce that AMWA is hosting an informal networking event in Auckland on Thursday, 16 February from 6pm to 8pm at Fantail and Turtle, Smales Farm, Takapuna. Members of the Auckland-based AMWA committee will be in attendance, and the event is open to all. There is no cost, and drinks and nibbles will be covered by AMWA. Please RSVP by Monday, 13 February.

You are invited to hear from Dr Ben Bravery, the author of 'The Patient Doctor', on Thursday 9 February 2023 from 6pm - 8pm. This event is hosted by the Australasian Medical Writers' Association and is open to all.

Ben will be talking about his experience as a cancer patient, and how this has impacted how he now interacts with the healthcare system as a doctor. Ben is a strong advocate for putting the patient at the heart of healthcare. This event will also be an opportunity to network and socialise with medical writers.
