I am a Sydney-based journalist and foreign correspondent, who has previously lived and worked in India and the United Kingdom. I write for various international and national media outlets on a wide spectrum of topics, including health and science, disability and assistive technologies, environment and development, and human rights and Indigenous issues from the Asia-Pacific region. I am a regular speaker on Poliomyelitis and Post-Polio Syndrome at conferences.

I have been a Foreign Correspondent for international news agencies including SciDev.Net, Inter Press Service and Press Trust of India. I have contributed to various international and national media outlets including BBC Indian Languages, Sydney Morning Herald, The Medical Republic, SBS Hindi and Australian University publications.
