I'm a trained & published medical scientist with cellular, molecular and animal analysis experience (specialising in immunology & microbiology) and an experienced project manager and HREC administrator. I've spent significant time in the tertiary education, government and metropolitan hospital research sectors managing clinical trial reviews and environments (eg as research office director at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne). I've dabbled in patent development and supported biotech startups with their research development programs.
These days I support scientific and medical writing and "medcomms" for researchers, medical device and pharmaceutical companies worldwide. If you are a developing a clinical trial protocol (and all those other documents!) or research manuscript of any kind, I'm pretty sure I can help you! I have a particular interest in helping scientists employ plain language when it's needed, from consent forms to plain language summary of publications.
