Professional standards in medical writing – new endorsements

A core goal of AMWA is to promote professional integrity in the field of medical writing. To help medical writers maintain high professional standards, AMWA now endorses:

The Media, Entertainment and Arts Alliance (MEAA) Journalist Code of Ethics

The Joint Position Statement of the International Society for Medical Publication Professionals (ISMPP), the American Medical Writers Association, and the European Medical Writers Association (EMWA) on the Role of Professional Medical Writers in the development of medical and scientific publications.

The calibre of speakers and their learnings from this unprecedented crisis were beyond our expectations.
