I am a freelance medical writer.
I have previously worked in the public service undertaking systematic reviews of literature and developing position statements and guidelines on various public health topics. I worked in a number of departments, frequently utilising technical writing and complex evidence translation skills.
I have also worked for hospitals and medical specialists developing easy to understand patient information, IFC’s and policy documentation to assist clinical services. I have experience developing follow-up patient satisfaction surveys and subsequent data aggregation on completed surveys.
Most recently I have been translating evidence on coronavirus and infection control into workplace specific guidelines and procedures for employers to support the return to work for staff and meet industry WHS obligations.
