Dr Kirsten Hogg
Kirsten is experienced in:
– Writing to deliver information on health to consumers, health professionals and government
– Communicating complex scientific and medical concepts to lay audiences
– Re-working health promotion content for readability
– Substantive editing/proofreading manuscripts, research grants and research theses
Kirsten obtained her PhD in reproduction in 2011, before becoming a post-doctoral fellow studying medical genetics and epigenetics in Vancouver and Melbourne. Kirsten has since transitioned into scientific writing and editing in the area of men’s health with a strong focus on reproductive and sexual health. Kirsten has built significant scientific writing experience on a freelance basis for not-for-profit, educational and commercial organisations.
