| Amanda has over 20 years experience as a journalist, editor and media adviser in Australia and the UK. She has worked for the University of Melbourne, the Australian Council of Trade Unions, the Australian Nursing Federation and Macmillan Magazines in London. |

| As a freelance journalist, Amanda has been a contributor to The Age, Australian Doctor, and The Lancet. News and features have also been published in The Guardian (UK) Campus Review and broad range of print and online outlets. |
