Ella is a freelance writer with over 20 years experience in the health system in Australia and overseas (UK and USA). She has contributed to professional journals, and written guidelines and educational programs within the field of Paediatrics. Writing tasks include reports, lectures and speeches, promotional brochures, newsletters, medical and nursing guidelines, poetry, submissions, information sheets, research proposals, patient education.

Writing experience

Ella's writing experience is predominantly in the Paediatric specialty. This includes conference papers on retrieval medicine through to educational programs on Paediatric Advanced Life support and Emergency Care. She has a strong research orientated background and is familiar with evidence based medicine. Her most recent project included contributing, researching, and editing Paediatric Emergency Medical Guidelines.
In 1995 Ella became involved with the ABC series Children's Hospital. This involved assisting with research and reviewing scripts for comment.
Ella offers experience in liaison with medical professionals in a vast area of general and specialist paediatrics. Other interests include Olympic medicine and complimentary therapies.
