Qualifications:
Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) from Charles Sturt University – Mitchell with a sub-major in psychology.
Currently studying for a Diploma of Nutrition at Australasian College of Natural Therapies.
Experience:
Elayn has been journalist and media writer for nearly fifteen years and writing for much longer than that. She wrote her first book at age six (unpublished) and won her first short story competition when she was 13 years old. She has worked as a journalist in television, radio and print mediums and as a producer in the UK for BSKYB as well as Soho-based production company Dunlop Woods Network Heroes. (Clients included Channel Five and ITV). More recently she has been working as a subeditor and proof reader for leading magazine houses Australian Consolidated Press and Pacific Publications among others.
Her interest is health is also long-standing and in her capacity as a healthcare marketing and public relations consultant in recent years she has worked for a range of clients. They have included pharmaceutical companies, biotechs, device manufacturers, herbal medicine companies, patient support groups, industry associations and nutrition clients. Elayn has also worked for A-list consumer brands.
