Skills and services

Throughout my PhD and years of post doctoral research, I’ve come to realize that my passion lies in scientific communication/writing and particularly, in revealing to the public the necessity of scientific medical research. I have published manuscripts, abstracts and I've been invited to peer review two manuscripts. I'm extremely experienced in scientific writing and editing. Over the years I’ve also learnt to communicate my medical research in lay terms to the wider public. I've attended a scientific communications/media training workshop held by Science In Public. I have a high level of communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral.  The ability to liaise with fellow peers and colleagues was/is vital in communicating our research to not only the science industry but the general public.

Whilst I very much enjoyed my time in medical/scientific research, I feel that it is equally important to let the general public know how vital this research is to the health of the nation. I hope that my passion for writing and communicating medical scientific research  to the public, can advertise the necessity for education and funding in the medical research field.
